Tag Heuer Tuesday & Turkey Time

Some Mondays are better than others....

So not every Monday sucks ass; but some start out sucking ass and turn out kinda bitchin'.  Bored to fucking tears at work (but lookin' sharp wearin this

), I made an early escape & tore hell for my local sink hole. I hit the shoreline around 4:30 with about an hour and a half of fishin time on the down-low; eagle claw featherlight 7' 5/6wt in hand, a James Woods Bucktail tied on and a small handful of backup flies in my pocket. Gotta do this shit run & gun style; shirt, tie, slacks... Yup, throw a fleece on top, tuck your pant-legs into your boot tops and make it happen.  Wind was blowing like fuck all so I hit the tree line and worked the edge until this little fella came along 

.  Skunk busted, time to relax.... Worked the wind sheltered( mostly) side and managed to pull 8 of his little buddies out of the drink:

And lastly

To say I was happier than a pig in shit would be a serious understatement.  I've only hit the water 4 times previously this year; 2 skunks in the Gunpowder River and 2 single catches on the pond.  Needless to say, I was pretty fuckin' stoked to have my first one of these of the year...

I'll take this case of the Mondays anytime.
